Barbara Oldani

Barbara is the SSDH Lead on Stakeholders' Engagement at NatureFinance.

Before joining NatureFinance, Barbara launched and served as Director of the Sovereign Decarbonization Program and of the Labelled Bonds Campaign at the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance.

Barbara is a former investment banker, having held London-based roles in fixed income sales focused on structured products, high yield and emerging markets at Salomon Brothers, Citibank, and Unicredit. She was co-founder and CEO of an FCA-regulated advisory firm working with institutional investors on illiquid and complex assets. Within the COO office at NatWest Markets, Barbara led bank-wide regulatory and strategic projects focused on governance and transformational change. In these roles, she engaged with both internal stakeholders and regulators.

She is an advocate for progressive change and sustainability via the financial markets.

Barbara holds a CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and a BSc and MSc in Economics and Social Sciences (DES) from Bocconi University in Milan.
